Project description

Constructive plan for the enlargement of the Chong Family’s house. At Santa Teresa Neighborhood, this project includes two more floors to the already existing two floors building. The third level will hostess the family room and the children’s bedrooms and the fourth level will contain the service area with an extra room for the house keeping personnel and a terrace with a pergola roof that will result in a 400m2 in the final building. The main concern in this design was to integrate the new spaces to the existing ones with out affecting them and succeeding to obtain an outline composition that somehow could smooth the visual impact of this building, whose final height will certainly contrast with the context.

On the interior areas some conditions where also given by our client, who wanted to optimize spaces with out sacrificing esthetic elements. For the Chong Family was also designed and constructed a Parking space for two vehicles, with an exterior volume that expresses strength and elegance and a wood pergola with some elevation variations we achieve to create a particular environment inside, that gives privacy to the exterior area of this living place.
