Project description

This project located at Mexicali is for the Aerospace unit, from Allied Signal Plant.

The client searched a volume that reflected simplicity and yet where distinctive of its brand, having it’s own character that distinguished it from the other industrial plants. The solution arrived by combining a rectangular plan that could be adapted to the different needs the company could have, but emphasizing a cylindrical volume to accent the main entrance and transform the expression of the building façade.

This building’s construction was solved with concrete supports and metallic walls and roof structure, with covering walls made on concrete block, working under the statements of UBC (Uniform Building Code), IMC (International Mechanical Code), IPC (International Plumbing Code) and local statement.
