Project Description

One of the more complex and biggest projects in this region made by the Arq. Benjamin Garza Fernandez is the one made for the Police Station at Mexicali, B.C., due to the quantity of areas that integrate it and the close relation between them.

The building concept was obtained by conceiving large volumes that inspired respect and order and at the same time, reflected security.

Following the IMC, UBC and IPC regulations, as well as the local rules, this building was successfully formed by simple geometrical figures that integrate in a solid volume, with cubes and cylinders that play with their form, as well in the interior as in the exterior, generating inside an peaceful environment with the help of some light entrances and garden stands offering a gentler look to this space Overcoming to the hostile stereotype of the conventional police stations.
